SuffragetteLife tells of the epic struggle to win votes for women through the art of suffragette postcards

I believe that the amazing campaign of the suffragettes who fought (and died) to win votes for women should be celebrated even more, as the centenary of their great victory in 1918 approaches. In fact, not all women got the vote in this country until 1928!

The campaign was marked by a huge range of artwork, imagery and merchandise which was published by both pro and anti suffrage campaigners. Much of this is still available to collectors, often for hundreds of pounds, and you can find a range of high-quality reproductions at our eBay shop, including postcards, framed prints, tea-towels and mugs.
